Certified Aromatherapist and Garden Lover

Anna - aromatherapist

Hi I’m Anna, mom of multigeneration children and earth lover. I have children in their 20’s and one in elementary school and grandchildren. I’m a gardener, herbalist and certified aromatherapist with training in animal care.

Growing up I’ve always had a connection to the earth. I enjoy gardening, taking long hikes in the mountains, camping on weekends and appreciating all things outdoors. My passion for plants came after my eldest son had developed an allergy to multiple antibiotics. He was also diagnosed with ADHD in elementary school.

I felt that there had to be more to it then simply putting him on medication. I started reading every book I could find on natural ways to manage attention problems in children. The answers took me back outdoors. We started growing food on my small apartment balcony. We also began reading food labels and avoiding as much of the artificial ingredients in foods as we could.

Since that time no matter where I’ve lived I’ve had a garden. From a humble start of pots on my balcony, multiple raised beds or amending the soil in the ground. Allow nature to direct your gardening. I stay away from pesticides and herbicides, but you may feel they are necessary. Fortunately for us we still live in the United States and can choose whatever we want. My intention is to guide you to eat healthier, grow plants or a garden and utilize all that are planet has to offer in caring for ourselves. I believe we can do that without chemicals as long as we listen to the plants.

I have spent the last 20+ years researching and experimenting. I have attended many classes, certification courses and worked with local gardeners learning various ways to care for plants, ourselves and Mother Earth.
